Why we install AudioControl.
AudioControl is the name we reach for when a customer wants to add an aftermarket amplifier and subs to a vehicle that has a factory radio (especially one with built-in EQ, time-alignment, or premium-audio signal shaping). The LC2i and LC6i line-output converters cleanly extract signal from factory speaker wires, and the LC-DSP processors (LC-1.800, LC-1.300) build in DSP processing so the new amplifier sees flat, properly summed signal. The D-series DSP-amplifier combos (D-4.800, D-6.1200) are powerful 4-channel and 6-channel amps with built-in 6-channel DSP, perfect for clean OEM-integration jobs. AudioControl gear is professional-grade, easy to tune, and built in the USA. Their AC-DSP smartphone tuning app makes day-of fine-tuning straightforward. We install AudioControl on most factory-radio integration jobs we do, especially on late-model luxury cars where the factory amp is doing tricky signal processing that needs to be undone before the new amp can perform.
