Subwoofer Installation in Coronado

Bass is the most-requested upgrade in our shop, and there's a wide spectrum of options. We install 8", 10", 12", and 15" subwoofers in pre-fab sealed and ported enclosures, custom-fab boxes designed for your specific trunk, slim under-seat models for trucks where cargo space matters, dual-sub setups for SPL builds, and stealth-style enclosures that hide behind seats or in spare-tire wells. Every sub install includes proper power-wire routing through the firewall to the battery, a fused distribution block within 18 inches of the battery, big-3 alternator wiring upgrades on high-power builds, and gain-matched amp tuning so your bass actually hits without rattling the dash apart or distorting at high volumes. We tune by ear and by meter, set the low-pass crossover correctly for the box, and check phase between sub and front-stage speakers. We carry Kicker, Alpine, Boss Audio, Memphis Audio, and Sundown Audio subs and can spec a setup from a clean daily-driver thump to a full SPL competition build. Common subwoofer-and-amp combo installs take 3 to 4 hours; full custom-fab builds run 1 to 3 days depending on complexity. Lifetime workmanship on every sub build, even on customer-supplied gear.

Coronado has a heavy mix of marine and Jeep customers, and we handle both regularly. Whether you need a new amplified sound bar for a Wrangler that lives with the top off year-round, or a full tower-audio install for a wakeboarding boat at Glorietta Bay, we have the gear and the experience to handle it. Marine audio installs use weatherproof, UV-rated speakers and corrosion-resistant amplifiers, no shortcuts on connections, no automotive parts that will fail in salt air. Jeep audio installs use overhead sound bars sized for Wranglers and Gladiators, weatherproof tube speakers for roll bars, and kick-panel adds for vehicles where door speakers aren't enough. We also handle factory-look CarPlay retrofits for Coronado daily drivers, alarm systems for vehicles parked along the bay, and custom fabrication for one-of-a-kind vehicles.
