Boats have specific audio requirements that automotive gear can't meet. UV exposure, salt spray, sustained humidity, vibration from waves, and constant temperature swings will kill any non-marine speaker, amplifier, or wiring connection within months. Marine-rated gear uses UV-resistant plastic cones, sealed waterproof voice coils, corrosion-resistant grilles and hardware, and amplifiers with conformal-coated PCBs that survive condensation. We install marine head units with weatherproof faceplates and Bluetooth, 6.5" and 8" coaxial tower speakers in custom-mount or factory-mount configurations, weatherproof subwoofers in sealed marine-grade enclosures, and marine-rated amplifiers designed for the harsh environment. Every wiring run is tinned-copper marine wire, every connection is heat-shrink-sealed, and every component is mounted to handle vibration without loosening. We work on bowriders, center consoles, pontoons, runabouts, sailboats, and wakeboard towers. Tower audio installs include the speaker brackets, run wiring through the tower frame to keep it hidden, and tune for the open-air listening position. Marine head units control via Bluetooth from your phone or a wired wired remote. Most installs are 4 to 8 hours depending on speaker count and access difficulty.
